After a functional-yet-fantastical Oddyssey, it’s finally time: The Homesick have returned, as chiefs of their own magical mushroom kingdom. The Dutch trio is equally pragmatic and hopelessly romantic, with their own blend of post-punk, krautrock and new wave.
On their new ‘What’s up with all these Shangri-Las?’, the band embarks on a new adventure: Clubby 80’s inspired sounds over the discordant post-punk of yesteryear.

In the world of post-punk/no-wave-formation Geo, all that seems accidental is made so by design. The more the parts contrast, the more their music slots together. It’s a framework of contrarian funk, cartoonish chromaticism and neoteric art-punk-vignettes, a negative space where chaos and cacophony can sound perplexingly catchy.
Out of Body – Geo’s long-awaited debut – is an oblong snow globe utopia where dancing with two left feet is an actual custom.
