De Beatriks is once again chosen for the ‘Coolest Explore Venue Out Of All Explore Venues Located Inside The Blokhuispoort’-Award. We’d love to take this moment to thank the jury, and we are proud to present the following programme:
YATTA
YATTA grips and doesn’t let go; Their powerful voice and long, whirling hair: The incantation is complete. Improvisational by nature, with lyrics about being black, trans and African in the diaspora.
Brik Tu-Tok
What first seems to be parody, reveals itself as a brutal trip, in which Brik Tu-Tok explores a multifaceted world.
Aunty Rayzor
Aunty Rayzor uses her pen as razor and her tongue as whip. Without making excuses, she chews her words and spits them out as punk.
