During the Friese Lente, De Beatriks is the living room of three acts. Dare to be pensive, dreamy and get carried away. It’s the Night of Philosophy!
The Noordhorn native Meindert Talma grew up in the Frysian Surhuisterveen. Tall, stoic, characteristically Frysian, completely unique and utterly fascinating. During a career spanning thirty years, Talma built his own oeuvre: Twenty albums, five autobiographical novels, poetry, and a book of interviews.

Lars Kroon is zanger-liedschrijver: Singer-songwriter. As silent observer, he sings of the contradictions of existence, with his characteristic melancholy. His deep voice carries songs of both solace and friction. His work is sometimes intense, but never predictable. With a keen eye for the absurd, he sketches the world as it is: Filled with both the strange and mundane, alternating and overlapping, always.
Nachtvlinder is an adventurer. Her work features country and folk, mariachi trumpets and synthesizers. Every song is a new fairy tale to explore. From the dark to the vulnerable, from comedy to tragedy. The result is work that is both for, and about, outsiders.
